Welcome on the Savanah Bay topic.

After the creation of SUTHRAN ISLAND, I felt that I was looking to establish a capital for my small Nation "Oceania".
I decided to create a more industrial and bigger city called Savanah Bay.
The town is established on a big band of sand between two hills,
and host around 1.250.000 inhabitants.
Descriptions and topics will be update in due time according the city advancement.

UPDATE 1
The DOWN - TOWN of Savanah Bay.

Welcome in the heart of the Oceania Nation.
The Down town of the capital is mostly crowded by offices and larges retails centers.
The city center is a huge and very animated place with big shopping malls.
At the beginning of the town, The center was very tall with a lot of scrappers,
but I decided to change the whole thing, doing a flat skyline with a "very few" high rise.
I find the render quite good, putting in evidence the big "Arch" and the "Global Trade Center".

UPDATE 2
The Shopping Malls of the town.

The town is very popular for his numerous shopping malls.
There are 3 big of them situated just in the Down Town.

The Savanah Golf Club.

Welcome in the green park and golf of the downtown.
The city has been planned with a large green area in it's heart.
The golf is a very appreciate area of the town.

UPDATE 5
Savanah Bay Intl Airport.

Savanah Bay owns 2 airports.
Savanah Intl. Airport which is the main hub for internationals flights getting into Oceania.
Sovereign Regional Air Base which is a regional airport for inter Oceania flights,
hosting also the Oceania Air Force.
The biggest of the two airport has been mainly builded over the water which is creating a serious issue for the design.
It has been a pain to use the beautiful taxiway patch. over the water,
so I had to make some compromise like not being able to make a taxiway all along the runways overwater.

You will find here older pictures taken during the construction phase
and early steps of the town development.
This is mainly concerning the road network which is really the backbone
of the city. For the rest everything changed drastically from those old pics.
